For some reason the producers of ‘Grease is the Word’ decided to split the couples up for this week’s show, which was disappointing for Bradley as he and Michelle had worked closely for a long time and had developed a great onstage relationship.
Bradley was however paired with Lauren McConnell, a great singer and performer who at nine years his junior was the youngest contestant in the competition.
Overcoming the unsuitability of the song due to the age gap, they performed Marvin Gaye and Kim Weston’s It Takes Two in this the fourth and for Bradley his final live show.
David Gest described the performance as ‘marvellous’ and David Ian once again congratulated the new couple on a mature well-acted performance despite the fact they had been hampered by a bad song selection.
Sadly, Bradley and Lauren did not succeed in the sing-off, despite an ‘electrifying’ You’re the One that I Want and went out of the competition to a standing ovation and with smiles on their faces.
