The initial auditions for ‘Grease is the Word’ saw Bradley put through his paces, with a series of interviews and assessments of his singing, acting and dancing. Prior to the televised audition with the judges, there had actually been that day alone! It was a whirlwind experience and just as much fun at this early stage as it was in the later live shows.
At the boot camp Bradley met Michelle Antrobus, and they were paired together very early on, and were actually one of the only couples that were not swapped around prior to the live shows.
At the boot camp, which was filmed at a large country house in Windsor, Bradley and Michelle were assessed both individually and as a couple with different tasks being assigned to them, from choreographing and staging their own duet, to working on scenes from the show to learning dance routines.
The contestants also had individual singing assessments and also learnt group routines, such as some of the larger numbers in the show. Finally, after surviving two culls of contestants through the week, Bradley and Michelle made it through as one of eight couples to the live shows.
